Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has categorically stated that Pakistan will surely deliver a befitting and strong response to the cowardly Indian aggression carried out in the darkness of night. Speaking on a motion in the National Assembly today (Thursday), he mentioned that the National Security Committee has authorized the armed forces to respond at a time and place of their own choosing.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister highlighted that India had a great pride in its superior technology Rafale jets, but the Pakistan Air Force deserves appreciation for bringing that pride to dust. This, he emphasized, also manifests Pakistan's superiority in conventional warfare. Attaullah Tarar proudly stated that Pakistan has shot down twenty-five Indian drones through hard and soft hits, inflicting heavy losses on Indian forces along the line of control. He further mentioned that forty to fifty Indian soldiers have been killed, asserting that the country's defense is in strong and safe hands and the armed forces are fully prepared.
The Information Minister reiterated that the entire nation stands with the armed forces of Pakistan to respond to the Indian aggression. In addition, Shazia Marri condemned the attack, stating that Indian aggression resulted in the tragic loss of civilian lives in Pakistan. She extended heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their dear ones and denounced the Modi government's atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Tahir Iqbal also spoke on the issue, highlighting the persecution of minorities, especially Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians in India, and accused Modi of pursuing a Hindutva ideology.
