The Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BMCCI, for the first time held the Power Lunch 2018 Series.
Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. A keynote address was delivered by Her Excellency Mrs. Nagma Mohamed Mallick, High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Brunei Darussalam. Her Excellency, among other things, touched on the state of the Indian economy, trade and investment opportunities between India and Brunei Darussalam. The BMCCI Power Lunch featured experts who provide business insights on skills and knowledge, industry and opportunities for local businesses.
It also gave an opportunity for local businesses to learn from community leaders as well as networking opportunities with BMCCI members and guests. The function was attended by business community, including representatives of chambers and business associations, as well as representatives of lead government agencies and foreign missions based in Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Doctor Haji Kamaruddin bin Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, the President of the BMCCI and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
