Bandar Seri Begawan: Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has marked the resumption of its flights to Beijing, People's Republic of China, with a special customer engagement activity. This momentous occasion celebrated both the inaugural flight to Beijing and the return journey to Brunei Darussalam.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the first flight back to Brunei Darussalam carried over 130 passengers. This marks a significant milestone as flights between the two capital cities had been suspended since October 2024. The resumption of flights aims to provide a seamless connection, operating twice weekly through Beijing Daxing International Airport.
The re-established flights are expected to enhance connectivity for corporate travelers, students, and tourists, thereby strengthening economic ties between the People's Republic of China and Brunei Darussalam. This new development underscores the commitment of Royal Brunei Airlines to bolster international travel and foster closer relations between the two nations.
