According to Radio Television Brunei, the Men's Group Epee event saw West Kalimantan claim the gold medal after a close match against Sarawak, ending with a score of 45-41. The national team secured the third position in this category. In the Women's Group Epee event, Sarawak emerged victorious, with Kalimantan taking second place and the national team finishing third.
The national team demonstrated its prowess in the Men's Group Saber event by sweeping the top three positions. Sarawak's consistent performance across events earned them the honor of being the overall champion of the 2nd Borneo Fencing Cup. The award was presented by Awang Haji Mohamad Rosfazilah bin Haji Yusly, Acting Director of Youth and Sports.
