Berakas: Primary science teachers play a role as drivers of curiosity and cultural continuity as well as the implementation of forward-looking STEAM education guided by local cultural values. This was emphasised in a keynote address during the Science Symposium. It was held at a shopping complex in Berakas, 29th July morning.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present was Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. With the theme ‘Beyond the Classroom: Integrating Technology and Real-World Applications in Primary Science Education’, the symposium aimed to foster a collaborative professional ecosystem to effectively support the integration of technology and the application of real-world practices in primary school science education.
