Bandar Seri Begawan: 120 students in Years 9 and 10 from 26 schools across the nation, along with 10 students from the BIBD ALAF initiative, took part in the SEL Young Innovators Programme (SELYI). Held in partnership with Brunei Shell Petroleum Company (BSP) and Seria Energy Lab (SEL), the programme was inaugurated on the afternoon of April 21 at Lambak Kiri Secondary School.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the initiative is designed to equip local youth with essential 21st-century skills, including coding, programming, design, 3D printing, and robotics. The programme includes a series of engaging and hands-on workshops running until July, culminating in the National Robotech and Innovation Competition scheduled for September.
