Bandar seri begawan: Seven foreigners were arrested and brought to the Law Enforcement Division for further investigation as a result of 'Operasi Kakas' conducted by the Department of Immigration and National Registration, JIPK, which targeted several locations in the country.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the operation focused on a playground in Mukim Berakas 'A' and rental houses in Mukim Kianggeh, Mukim Kota Batu, and the surrounding areas of Mukim Belait. The Law Enforcement Division of Bandar Seri Begawan and Kuala Belait Branch were involved in carrying out the operation.
The offences discovered during the operation included overstaying in the country, failing to produce any valid documents, not working with the original employer, and working in a position not stated in their passports.
