Several New Features will be added to BruHealth Application

The BruHealth Application being used now acts as a pandemic response platform and the people’s involvement will help the Ministry of Health in contact tracing in the event of any virus infection in Brunei Darussalam.  Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy said a number of new features will be added to the application including updating personal health records.

Yang Berhormat said Bruhealth will add several new features including online personal health record; online VISIT appointment (Will Double Check Later); online video consultation.

The new digital features will help the community to learn about health history to enable more efficient personal health management.

The existence of such a platform will enable the government to make better use of the ‘big data’ and artificial intelligence in order to assist the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders in determining the health level of the country’s citizens and residents apart from helping in predicting the rate of infection, medical resource mapping that enables more effective planning especially in providing healthcare infrastructure and providing public health related policies in the country.

In this regard the Minister on behalf of the Ministry of Finance and Economy with great pleasure conveys appreciation and gratitude for all the continuous and strong cooperation between the stakeholders in the Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam especially the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications and the involvement of the private sector particularly Syarikat IT Protective Security Services Sdn Bhd, ITPSS; Syarikat Dynamic Technology Sdn Bhd; Unifeid National Network Sdn Bhd, UNN; and EViD Technology in making the large scale project a success.

Solid support among government agencies and the private sector in the country reflects the people’s solidarity and consensus in tackling challenges, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic.
