Towards establishing a framework for mutual cooperation in the delivery and development of Digital Government curriculum, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Ecquaria Technologies Private Limited (ECQ), a global provider of digital government software and solutions that is incorporated in Singapore. The signing ceremony was held at UTB Library Complex.
Signing on behalf of UTB was Awang Haji Ady Syarmin bin Haji Md Taib, Acting Vice-Chancellor of UTB, while ECQ was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Foong Wai Keong. The signing was witnessed by Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications and Dr. Au Thien Wan and Lee Sea Lin, Director of Innovation of ECQ. Under the MoU, Ecquaria Technologies will provide relevant software and services for training purposes for UTB students.
