The uniqueness of Singapore food including the Minangkabau cuisine is now showcased at the Singapore Food Festival. The Festival which introduces the Minangkabau food from one of the oldest halal restaurants in Singapore which is the Rumah Makan Minang Restaurant was launched on 13th December night.
The festival was jointly launched by Dato Seri Paduka Doctor Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy as Chairman of Royal Brunei Catering and His Excellency Lim Hong Huai, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam. The Festival is organised by the Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore High Commission in the country with the cooperation of The Horizons Restaurant. The festival which showcases more than 80 Singapore cuisines is held until 27th of this month at The Horizons Restaurant in the capital.
