The 27th National Weather Briefing, held at the Information Department, revealed that during the Southwest Monsoon, atmospheric conditions in Brunei Darussalam are expected to be more stable, resulting in a decrease in localised thundershower activity. According to Radio Television Brunei, the briefing is part of the department's ongoing efforts to engage with various user groups. These groups include First and Safety Responders, Economic and Industry groups, construction and insurance companies, Small and Medium Enterprises, and the mass media. The briefing aims to support early preparedness and planning in response to changing weather conditions.
