Strengthening Scout Membership: Brunei Hosts Asia-Pacific Region Meet

Bandar seri begawan: The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association is hosting the APR NSO Membership Growth Coordinators Meet 2026, which is taking place until July 5th at the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association Headquarters. This significant gathering was officially inaugurated by Dr. Dayang Hajah Lily Suzana binti Haji Shamsu, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the meeting has brought together representatives from 14 member countries across the Asia-Pacific Region. These member development coordinators are convening to discuss strategies and initiatives aimed at strengthening Scouting membership growth within their respective nations.

The primary objectives of the meeting include sharing various approaches and strategies to bolster the development of Scout membership. Additionally, it serves as a platform for exchanging views, experiences, and best practices among Scout organizations operating under the Asia-Pacific Region's auspices.
