Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has sent congratulatory messages to the President of the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and the Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, His Excellency Lawrence Wong, as well as to the Government and the people of Singapore on the occasion of its 60th National Day.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the messages conveyed His Majesty’s best wishes to the leaders and citizens of Singapore, marking the significant milestone in the nation’s history. The Sultan expressed his hope for the continued prosperity and progress of Singapore and reaffirmed the strong ties between Brunei Darussalam and Singapore.
