Perlis: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, is set to attend the Royal Banquet in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the reign of His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, the Raja of Perlis. The event will take place on 17th April 2025 in Perlis, Malaysia.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Sultan's attendance at the Silver Jubilee Celebrations follows an official invitation extended by the Raja of Perlis. The Instrument of Invitation (Warkah Persilaan) was delivered by Yang Amat Mulia Dato' Seri Diraja Syed Badaruddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, Tengku Syarif Bendahara Perlis, to His Majesty at Istana Nurul Iman on 28th January 2025. In response, an Official Reply (Warkah Balasan) from His Majesty was handed over by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara, to the Raja of Perlis on 24th March 2025 at Istana Arau, Perlis.
