Belait: Muslims across the country performed the sunat Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer which began with the call of takbir Hari Raya, followed by the sunat Aidilfitri prayer and sermon.
According to Radio Television Brunei, in Belait District, the focal point for the prayer was at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque in Kuala Belait, with Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, the Acting Belait District Officer, present at the event.
Meanwhile in Tutong District, the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town hosted the Sunat Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayer. Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer, attended the prayer along with other congregants.
In Temburong District, the Utama Mohd Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town was the venue for the Aidilfitri prayer. The congregation included Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, the Acting Temburong District Officer.
