Tahlil Ceremony Marks 65th Anniversary of Royal Brunei Armed Forces

Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces' 65th anniversary, the Ministry of Defence and RBAF organized a Tahlil Ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum on the morning of May 22. The event featured the Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. This event is part of a series of religious activities held to commemorate the RBAF's 65th anniversary, leading up to the main celebration on May 31.
