Taking a Closer Look at the Brunei International Airport’s Facilities

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday morning took a closer look at the existing facilities of the Brunei International Airport.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof, Minister of Transport and Info-Communications.

His Majesty first visited the Tarindak by Graduates Restaurant located at the departure hall of the Brunei International Airport. The restaurant was one of the efforts inspired by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in assisting youths to venture into the business world as a source of income. During the visit, His Majesty had the opportunity to choose jackfruit-flavoured ice cream out of the numerous fruit-flavoured deserts that are available, and tried the restaurant's watermelon juice.

Operational since the 6th of this month, the restaurant is the only eatery that is fully operated by 16 graduates. Since its establishment, the restaurant has received encouraging response from the public.

His Majesty also visited the Anjung Saujana Restuarant, one of the branches of the Royal Brunei Catering, RBC.

His Majesty then took a closer look at the existing facilities that can be found at the departure hall of the Brunei International Airport.
