Bandar Seri Begawan: The temporary closure of half the road at the Jalan Muara/Jalan Utama Tanah Jambu junction is extended until 30th April 2025. The closure is necessary to facilitate traffic light cable installation works. According to Radio Television Brunei, half the lane at Jalan Tutong from Simpang 776 to Simpang 728 (Madewa Bound) will be temporarily closed starting 7th April night for road repair works. This closure will occur from 7 in the evening to 5 in the morning, depending on the weather conditions. In other developments, the temporary closure of half the road at J-44 Traffic light Jalan Utama Berakas or Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway has been extended until 20th April. This extension is to allow for loop sensor repair works to be carried out. The Public Works Department, in a press release, advised road users to be cautious and comply with the traffic signs and speed limit.
