Temburong: Ten youths have successfully completed the Basic Water Rescue Techniques Course held in conjunction with the Day of Action Campaign and the International Volunteer Day 2024 Celebration. The course took place at the Swimming Pool, Temburong Sports Complex, on the morning of November 30th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the course aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge, skills, and the correct actions required during emergency situations, specifically when rescuing themselves and others from drowning. Additionally, it focused on imparting safety procedures to prevent drowning incidents.
Participants were given the opportunity to learn the latest skills and tactics in proper rescue operations. They also received exposure to various management strategies and safety measures critical for effective water rescue.
