Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) commemorated the delivery of the first of its A320neo aircraft during a delivery ceremony in Toulouse, France. The aircraft is first of seven firm aircraft and three option aircraft ordered by the National Airline of Brunei Darussalam as part of its fleet renewal program back in 2014.
Present was Her Excellency Datin Paduka Malai Hajah Halimah binti Malai Haji Yussof, Brunei Ambassador to France; Karam Chand, RB Chief Executive Officer; Eric Schulz, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer and Mohammad Nazri Mohammad Yusof, Acting Director of Brunei Department of Civil Aviation. RB’s current fleet consists of 10 aircraft; four Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and six A320ceo. Eight new aircraft will join its fleet by end of this year. The national carrier today operates out of its hub airport the Brunei International Airport in Bandar Seri Begawan to 18 destinations across the world.
