The price of rubber soared past 90 baht/kg, the highest in 7 years.

The price of rubber is now soaring through the roof. The price of 3rd floor smoked rubber sheets at the RAOT central market in Nakhon Si Thammarat and Surat Thani provinces has already exceeded 90 baht, with the RAOT governor stating that this is a result of the policy on rated rubber or GPS tires. The origin can be traced and is in demand in the European market. Source: Thai News Agency
