Three Students Were Not Involved and Not At the Mosques in Question during the Shootings

Following the fatal shootings at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, the Ministry of Education has expressed its serious attention and great concern towards the safety of Brunei Darussalam's students in New Zealand, especially those studying in Christchurch. According to the Ministry, three government scholarship students are studying in the city.

The Scholarship Division at the Ministry of Education through the Education Attach in Canberra, Australia has confirmed that the three students were not involved and not at the mosques in question during the shootings. Their whereabouts and safety have been confirmed.
