Bandar Seri Begawan: Various cuisines of the Republic of Turkiye are being showcased as part of Turkish Cuisine Week, hosted at the official residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Brunei Darussalam. The event also features a water marbling art or 'Ebru' demonstration.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Turkish Cuisine Week is an annual celebration held during the last week of May, aimed at introducing the traditional cuisine of Turkiye to a broader audience.
The event was also graced by the presence of His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Brunei Darussalam, alongside Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, who is the Speaker of the Legislative Council.
