Bandar Seri Begawan: The Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) held its Innovation Day to honor creativity, technology, and innovation rooted in Islamic values. The event was organized by the Faculty of Islamic Technology (FTI) at UNISSA, with the launching ceremony taking place on the morning of April 15th. According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was officiated by Radin Sufri bin Radin Basiuni, Chief Executive Officer of DST Sendirian Berhad. UNISSA Innovation Day showcased innovative projects developed by FTI research students and lecturers. These projects integrated Islamic teachings with modern technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and digital media. The event was also attended by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA.
