The meeting session continued in the afternoon, with a visit by Members of the Legislative Council to the Syariah Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs in the capital.
Welcoming the delegation was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The visit included a briefing on the functions, duties and responsibilities of the Halal Food Control Division and Family Counselling Service Division. The visit ended with the viewing of an exhibition at the foyer of the Ministry of Religious Affairs building in the capital.
