Tutong: Residents in several areas of Tutong District should anticipate disruptions or low water pressure due to scheduled water tank cleaning operations. The Public Works Department, Ministry of Development, has announced that these works will begin this weekend.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the cleaning of the Telisai water tank is set to commence tomorrow, September 9, starting at 8:30 a.m., and will continue until completion. This operation is expected to affect water supply in Kampung Telisai, STKRJ Telisai, and surrounding areas.
In addition, the Bukit Beruang booster tank is scheduled for cleaning on September 10, also starting at 8:30 a.m. The cleaning may impact the Bukit Beruang National Housing Scheme and adjacent areas. Residents requiring water tankers during this period are advised to contact Talian Darussalam at 123 for assistance.
