Bandar Seri Begawan: Since the 5th of May, Brunei Darussalam has been experiencing excessive hot weather conditions in several areas of the country during the day. The daily maximum temperatures recorded in several observation stations around the country have reached 35 degrees Celsius or above for three consecutive days.
According to Radio Television Brunei, as of Tuesday, 6th of May, three areas have recorded excessive hot weather, namely Labi, Lakiun, and Anggerek Desa. Meanwhile, another five areas have reported unusual hot weather, including Bandar Seri Begawan, Lumapas, Sinaut, Benutan, and Bangar. The weather in Brunei Darussalam is forecasted to continue being generally hot and dry, with reduced rainfall expected for the upcoming days. The daily maximum temperatures are anticipated to reach between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius. Members of the public are advised to take necessary precautions and safety measures in light of the expected hot and dry weather conditions.
