Bandar seri begawan: Towards promoting tourism in the country, sixty students and thirty teachers from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School recently conducted a three-day field trip to the Temburong District.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the group began their trip to Peliunan Park in Kampung Batu Apoi on 9th August 2025, by holding the ‘Amazing Race’ activity. This event aimed to engage the students in a fun yet educational competition, providing them with opportunities to learn about the local environment and culture.
On 10th August 2025, the group visited Batang Duri Park for a ‘Team Building’ activity. This was followed by a cleaning campaign and presentation of endowments at Surau Kampung Piasau-Piasau. These activities were designed to instill a sense of responsibility and community service among the students, while also encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
The trip was structured to provide an engaging experience for the students, teaching them independence and teamwork skills. The activities were chosen to create educational opportunities outside the classroom, aligning with the broader goal of promoting tourism and cultural awareness in the region.
