Bandar seri begawan: The 'Youth Learn, Empower and Advocate for a Resilient Environment" (YouLEARn) Programme, part of Phase 1 of the 'Belia Brunei Nadi Alam Sekitar" BRUNAS Youth Programme, culminated in a Prize Presentation Ceremony held on the afternoon of August 28.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony marked the conclusion of a training workshop course that brought together 30 youths from seven teams. These participants included students from higher education institutions, members of non-governmental organizations, and young entrepreneurs. The event was officiated by Dayang Aldila binti Haji Mohamad Salleh, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Corporate and Law at the Ministry of Development, who presented prizes and certificates of appreciation to the participants.
The BRUNAS Youth Programme, organized by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, serves as a platform for young individuals to engage in environmental activities. It aims to empower youth to contribute to the sustainability of Brunei's environment, fostering a sense of responsibility and proactive involvement in environmental conservation efforts.
