According to Radio Television Brunei, the Darbouka, a hand drum primarily used in Middle Eastern music, has captured the interest of Awangku Rayyan Khan bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Hamid. Initially starting with the hadrah, Awangku Rayyan later switched to the Darbouka. His passion for musical instruments, coupled with continuous training from social media, has enabled him to become more proficient at playing these instruments.

Family support plays a crucial role in keeping him motivated to continue learning the Darbouka. The determination of this young student to master the Darbouka is expected to make a significant contribution to the art industry in the country.
