Berakas: In efforts to instill a love of reading among children and strengthen the reading culture in the country, the Language and Literature Bureau through the Library Division, in collaboration with the Wawasan Office, Prime Minister’s Office, held the Final of the Story-Telling Competition 2025. Themed ‘Suara Muda, Suara Dunia,’ or Young Voices, World Voices, the competition took place on the morning of 25th August at the Language and Literature Bureau, Berakas.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the prize presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council. In Category A, Story-Telling in Malay Language was won by Dayang Nurfitriyah Zhufairah binti Ramli from Bengkurong Primary School. Meanwhile, in Category B, Story-Telling in English Language, was won by Dayang Nur Adriana Natasha binti Mohamad Khairin from Datu Ratna Haji Muhammad Jaafar Primary School, Kiarong.
