Youth Camp Programme Engages 50 Youth Nationwide

Bandar seri begawan: 50 youth nationwide participated in the Youth Camp Programme, which aims to strengthen the identity and character of participants through an Islamic approach. The three-day programme, held at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, was officially opened on the night of 9th August.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the opening was officiated by Awang Iswandy bin Ahmad, Assistant Managing Director of Welfare Services and Social Development at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The event was organised by Yayasan and conducted by the youth groups of the Syababurroja mosque and the Ashabul Akhyar Mosque Youth, in collaboration with the Mosque Affairs Department and the Nationwide Mosque Youth Group.

The programme is hoped to instil the spirit of leadership, social responsibility, and teamwork among the youth.
