Bandar seri begawan: SMARTER Brunei commemorated its 24th anniversary with a Graduation and Moving Up Ceremony 2025 at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health, on the afternoon of December 2nd.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the graduation certificates were presented by Doctor Haji Azman bin Haji Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. The ceremony also highlighted the transition of children from the Early Development, Growth and Enabling (EDGE) Centre to the Brunei Autism Centre for Adults (BACA). This transition marks a significant step in the children’s journey, focusing on acquiring skills for future growth and independence.
The event underscored SMARTER Brunei’s dedication to providing continuous support, therapy, training, and advocacy for individuals on the autism spectrum. As the association celebrates 24 years, the ceremony reflected its unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of those it serves.
