Jerudong: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, serving as both the President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council and an Honorary Executive Board Member of the Olympic Council of Asia, participated in the 2nd OCA Gender Equity Seminar. This event, orchestrated by the Olympic Council of Asia with assistance from the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council and logistical backing from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, took place on the morning of April 15th at The Empire Brunei in Jerudong.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the seminar featured presentations by notable personalities, including His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Al-Hussein, who is the Chair of the ANOC Gender Equity Commission and the OCA Chair of the Peace and Sport Standing Committee. These prominent figures shared insights and personal experiences aimed at advancing gender equality in sports. The seminar also included interactive dialogue sessions and workshops designed to foster discussion and collaboration on gender equity issues within the sports community.
