3rd Haj Flight Departs Brunei with 254 Pilgrims

Bandar Seri Begawan: The third flight carrying 254 intending haj pilgrims from Brunei Darussalam departed for the Holy Land aboard Royal Brunei Airlines flight BI4205 on the morning of May 17.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the farewell ceremony took place at Brunei International Airport, where several dignitaries were present to see off the pilgrims. Among those present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, the Minister of Development who is currently acting as the Minister of Health. Additionally, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Buraithin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam, were also in attendance.

The departure of this flight marks a significant milestone for Brunei Darussalam's haj pilgrims, as they embark on their spiritual journey to the Holy Land. The presence of high-ranking officials at the airport underscores the importance of this religious occasion and the support extended to the pilgrims by the Bruneian government.
