Bandar Seri Begawan: The delegation was welcomed by His Excellency Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, Brunei Darussalam's Acting Consulate General in Jeddah. Upon arrival in Madinah, intending pilgrims were accommodated at designated hotels.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the second group of intending haj pilgrims comprise those under Darussalam Services Sendirian Berhad; Straits Central Agencies Sendirian Berhad; and Al-Hijrah Travel and Tours Sendirian Berhad.
