Having started from the age of 40, 85-year-old Dayang Hajah Maisalamah binti Haji Abd Hamid, is still actively continuing her interest in making cakes and biscuits. According to Dayang Hajah Maisalamah , her skills in making cakes and biscuits were acquired by participating in adult classes and home science classes.
Nowadays, cakes and biscuits making is easily available from social media. But for some people, cakes made by their parents have its own specialty. According to Dayang Hajah Maisalamah, the making of the cakes and biscuits started before the month of Ramadhan.
