Bandar Seri Begawan: The 25th National Weather Briefing, an initiative by the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department, was conducted to engage various user groups and enhance understanding of the nation's weather conditions. The event took place this morning at the Information Department.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the briefing attracted 110 representatives from government agencies, the private sector, and the public. The session, led by Meteorological Officer Awang Mohammad Affindi bin Haji Sabli, concentrated on the Southwest Monsoon and the forthcoming inter-monsoon period. Additionally, the 2024 Annual Weather and Climate Report for Brunei Darussalam was presented.
The briefing aims to support early preparedness and planning in response to changing weather patterns and long-range forecasts for the Southwest Monsoon. This ongoing initiative underscores the department's commitment to fostering greater weather awareness across different sectors in Brunei Darussalam.
