Gadong: The 39th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championship concluded with a prize presentation ceremony at a hotel in Gadong. The event, which spanned four days starting on September 21st, saw Brunei Darussalam emerge as the overall winner of the prestigious Lela Pahlawan Challenge Trophy. Malaysia secured second place, while Thailand took third.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the tournament welcomed over 200 golfers from six ASEAN countries, showcasing a competitive spirit among the participants. The prize presentation was officiated by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Mohd Jaafar bin Haji Abdul Aziz, who serves as the President of the Brunei Darussalam Senior Golfers Association.
