Chung Hwa Middle School, Bandar Seri Begawan, and International School Brunei (ISB) both emerged victorious in their respective games, held at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat, Gadong. According to Radio Television Brunei, Chung Hwa Middle School, Bandar Seri Begawan, delivered a decisive victory over Chung Ching Middle School, finishing the match with a commanding score of 112-42. In the second match of the evening, ISB secured a win against Saint Andrew's School with a scoreline of 106-35, further cementing their position in the tournament. The matches were part of the ongoing Aewon Cup, which continues to be a platform for showcasing young basketball talent in the region.
