Bandar seri begawan: 10 units of Water Tender Ladder, WRL, have been commissioned as part of the government’s initiative to enhance the Department of Fire and Rescue’s preparedness, specifically in improving fire and rescue operation capabilities. This initiative reflects the Ministry of Home Affairs’ continuous commitment to providing modern resources and equipment that support the efficacy and safety of fire and rescue personnel while on duty.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the commissioning of the new vehicles boosts the Department of Fire and Rescue’s confidence in further improving its preparedness and capabilities, aligning with its vision of becoming a world-class fire and rescue service through professionalism, preparedness, and service excellence. The vehicles were commissioned by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs.
The addition of these vehicles ensures enhanced preparedness and an elevated level of excellent services, providing a public service guarantee that the community can trust.
