Kampung tanjung nangka: Since early January to the end of August, 173 individuals have embraced Islam in the country, with 84 of them hailing from the Brunei Muara District. This number continues to grow, highlighted by the recent conversion of an Iban woman who chose Islam as her new faith. The ceremony was held in Kampung Tanjung Nangka.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Valenvina Rina anak Robin, a 19-year-old, has adopted the Islamic name Nor Shahrina binti Abdullah Robin. The conversion ceremony was officiated by officers from the Da’wah Development Division of the Islamic Da’wah Centre.
