Brunei: Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB Group of Companies, which includes its subsidiaries Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sendirian Berhad, Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad, and TAIB Filling Station Sendirian Berhad, organized the Distribution of Sacrificial Meat in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha. The event was held at Kampung Sungai Besar Mosque in Jalan Kota Batu on the afternoon of June 5th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the sacrificial meats were handed out by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as the Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Second Minister of Defence. In his capacity as Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB's Board of Directors, he oversaw the distribution to 100 recipients, all of whom were less fortunate families residing in Mukim Kota Batu.
