Bandar seri begawan: A Doa Selamat ceremony for the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) contingent participating in the Malaysian Battalion, MALBATT 850-13, was held at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison, on the afternoon of October 28.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Second Minister of Defence. The 21-member contingent is under the leadership of Major Mohammad Ihya’uddin bin Haji Ishak. The event also saw the presence of Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the RBAF.
