Bandar Seri Begawan: The 159th Munajat Night, organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, took place on the 9th of November, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Manggis/Madang. The event highlighted the significance of glorifying the mosque for those who have faith in Allah and believe in the Judgment Day, perform prayer, pay zakat, and fear nothing but Allah. According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by various dignitaries, including Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Suhaili bin Haji Mohiddin, a Member of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council and Advisor of the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque Takmir Committee. The programme featured the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Mulk, and Doa Munajat. It was further enlivened by the participation of the Takmir Committee and congregants from the mosque as well as those from mosques, suraus, and religious h alls nationwide. The gathering served as a reminder of the spiritual and communal benefits of glorifying the mosque, reinforcing the importance of faith and devotion in the lives of the attendees.
