Belait: The senior citizens in Mukim Bukit Sawat, Belait District were celebrated on the morning of November 10th during a ceremony held in conjunction with the International Day of Older Persons. The event took place at Sungai Mau Recreational Park, Mukim Bukit Sawat. According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer. It served as a platform to respect and appreciate the senior citizens, particularly those residing in the mukim. Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Awang Salleh bin Haji Othman and Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, Members of the Legislative Council.
