Festive Stage Performances Mark His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration

Bandar seri begawan: Various performances continued to enliven the Festive Stage in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration. The festive stage in the capital featured the Lavender Live Band Show, which showcased old songs, classic rhythms, and nostalgia. Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, was present at the event.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in Belait District, the festive stage was highlighted with the Cultural Performance Night, featuring solo and group singing and dancing performances from Panaga Primary School, Kuala Belait. This performance was conducted by the Baden Powell Brotherhood, Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association.

In Tutong District, a performance titled ‘Mengimbas Kenangan Zaman’ organised by Seragam Hitam Band added to the festivities. Notable attendees included Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer, and Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile, the Temburong District Festive Stage was enlivened by a singing competition featuring students from Sultan Hassan Secondary School, Temburong. Among those present were Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer, and Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council.
