Busan: Five students were recognized with awards at the 2025 APEC Youth STEM Conference held at the Korea Science Academy in Busan and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the student representatives included Awang Mohamed Nabil bin Mohamed Hairol from Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah and Dayang Lee Jing Jing from Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan. Other awardees were Dayang Thian Siao Fen@Samantha, Dayang Teo Kai Lun from Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong, and Dayang Nursyamimi binti Nur Azme from Pusat Tingkatan Enam Belait.
The students conducted their research presentations in groups of two to three alongside peers from other APEC economies. These presentations were delivered in front of regional experts, educators, and fellow participants at the conference.
