Belait: The Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents in Belait District, marking the occasion of His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration, is scheduled for Saturday, 30th August, at Padang Bandaran Kuala Belait. A comprehensive rehearsal took place on the morning of 26th August to prepare for this event. This year’s special performance at the Get-Together Ceremony in Belait District is themed ‘Raja Dan Rakyat Berjiwa Satu’.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the rehearsal was attended by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, who serves as the Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara and Co-Advisor for the event. The rehearsal was also witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Minister of Home Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, who are both Co-Chairpersons of the celebration’s National Committee.
