Health Minister Urges Health Trainees to Engage with Key Ministries

London: Health professionals and students undergoing training are urged to always be in touch with relevant parties, including the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, to facilitate training monitoring and planning. This call, aimed at providing an avenue for advice and guidance on the direction and expertise needed, was made by the Minister of Health during a meeting and dialogue session with students in the fields of medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, and Allied Health Professional, as well as doctors undergoing professional training in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar emphasized the importance of students and health professional trainees as national assets. He expressed hope that these individuals will return to serve their country and contribute to the enhancement of quality and efficient services after completing their studies and training. The hybrid session was designed to provide exposure to the needs of the healthcare system in Brunei Darussalam and offer an opportunity for knowledge sharing in medical and health studies. The event also included a briefing and a question-and-answer session with the Minister of Health.
